Elave Software Risk Disclosure
DRAFT — needs review by a qualified lawyer before anyone relies on it. Version 2026-10-04-draft1. Issued by [ELAVE LEGAL ENTITY].
Read this before installing the Elave Connector, any Elave expert advisor, add-on, cBot, copier or Strategy EA.
Not financial advice
Elave provides software, education and analytics. Nothing in the Software, its settings, presets, coach rails, alerts, journal analytics, AI coach or any communication from Elave is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Elave does not manage your money. You decide every trade.
Trading carries a high risk of loss
Trading forex, CFDs, futures, indices, metals, crypto and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money rapidly because of leverage. You can lose more than you deposit where your broker allows it. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
No guaranteed results
No software, strategy, EA, copier or coach can guarantee profits, prevent losses, or guarantee that you pass a prop-firm evaluation or receive a payout. Elave makes no such promise.
Past and backtested performance
Past performance, backtests, simulations, demo results and any figure shown by Elave are not a reliable indicator of future results. Backtests are hypothetical: they are built with hindsight, can be over-fitted, and usually understate spreads, slippage, commissions, swaps, latency and rejected orders. Live results can be materially worse.
Automated trading risk
Automated software can place, size, modify and close trades without your involvement. Bugs, connectivity loss, computer sleep, terminal restarts, broker rejections, price gaps, weekend gaps and data errors can cause unexpected or duplicated trades, missed exits, or larger losses. You must monitor your accounts.
Copier risk
Copied trades can be delayed, filled at different prices, sized differently, or missed. Copying the same strategy across several accounts multiplies losses as well as gains. Some prop firms prohibit or restrict copy trading or trading the same strategy across accounts.
Prop-firm risk
Prop firms set and change their own rules and decide how to interpret them. A prop firm may fail an evaluation, close an account, refuse or reduce a payout, or ban a trader, including for using EAs, copiers, news trading, hedging or "consistency" breaches, even when Elave's rule presets show you as within limits. Elave's presets may be incomplete or out of date. Check your firm's current rules yourself.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, for supervising the Software, and for complying with your broker's and prop firm's terms and with the law where you live.
