FAQ
When does a commission get confirmed?+
On the referred user's first real (non-paper) trade. This kills bot signups and protects the program from fraud. The commission then enters a 35-day lock window (covers Stripe chargeback period) before becoming available for payout.
How do I get paid?+
Stripe Connect Express. You complete a 5-minute KYC inside Stripe (we never see your bank info), and payouts hit your account on the 40th of every month for the prior month's earnings. International supported via Stripe's payout corridors.
What's the commission cap per referral?+
12 months from the first paid charge. After that the user keeps using Elave but stops generating commission. This caps long-tail liability while still rewarding the highest-LTV referrals.
Can I refer myself with a different email?+
No. Self-referral is automatically detected via IP, device fingerprint, and Stripe payment-method fingerprint at the point of charge. Detected self-referrals forfeit the commission and may result in account suspension.
What about regulated jurisdictions like UK / EU?+
We operate within FCA financial-promotion rules. All creator copy must follow the pre-approved phrasing library, and share cards auto-stamp the required risk disclaimer. We can't onboard partners in jurisdictions where the program is incompatible with local law — those are blocked at signup.
What's a Tier 2 referral?+
When someone you referred becomes a partner and refers their own customer, you earn 5% of that revenue for 12 months. Stops at Tier 2 — we don't run a 3+ tier program (that's MLM territory and Stripe doesn't support it).
How is this different from Rewardful or generic SaaS programs?+
Built for trading platforms. Pay-on-real-trade gate, compliance-first share cards, multi-tier without crossing into MLM, fraud detection tied to trading behaviour — none of which generic SaaS affiliate tools do natively.
