AI trading coach that reads your own trades.

Elave's AI Coach is an AI trading coach that reads the trades in your own journal and finds the habits that cost you money, such as revenge entries, oversizing or trading through news. It gives no signals and never trades. Today's read is free; the full habit, weekly review and journey come with the Elave Bootcamp.

What does an AI trading coach actually do?

It reads your trade history and looks for behaviour that repeats and costs money. Elave's coach checks for revenge trading, tilt, oversizing, exiting early or late, breaking your own rules, trading around news, drifting out of your session and chasing losses.

Each finding is counted, not guessed: the coach shows how many of your trades it rests on, and it labels a pattern "Early signal" or "Not enough data" when the sample is small.

What doesn't it do?

  • No signals and no market predictions. Every detector looks at your behaviour, never at where price goes next.
  • It never places, changes or closes a trade.
  • It does not invent its text: every sentence comes from a reviewed template, filled from your trades.
  • It promises no results. It shows what your past trades say; what you change is up to you.

Is Elave an AI trading psychology coach?

In part. It works on behaviour, which is where trading psychology shows up in the numbers. It detects tilt, revenge trading, loss chasing and broken rules from your actual trades, not from questionnaires.

It does not replace a therapist or a mentor. For coaching with a person, Elave runs the Elave Bootcamp, by application, with a live class every Wednesday and coach-reviewed homework.

Can AI detect revenge trading, tilt or overtrading?

Revenge trading and tilt, yes, as patterns in timing and size. Revenge trades tend to come minutes after a loss, often bigger and outside the plan; the revenge-trading and loss-chasing detectors flag those sequences in your synced trades. Tilt shows up as a run of trades that gets faster and less selective than your usual pace.

Overtrading has no detector of its own; it usually surfaces as a tilt run. Today's read names the top finding for free; the trades behind it come with the Bootcamp.

How does the AI Coach write its findings?

Statistics first, templates second. Statistical detectors compute each finding from your trades, and the words come from fixed, reviewed templates; the AI only chooses which template fits. Every number traces back to real trades, so the coach cannot invent facts.

AI trading journal: what does the AI read?

Only the closed trades in your own Elave journal: when each trade was taken, its size, its session and its result, set against your own rules.

Trades arrive through MT5 or MT4 sync, cTrader, TradeLocker, ProjectX, NinjaTrader 8, or a file import (MT5 History report, MT4/MT5 CSV, TradingView "List of trades", Myfxbook). There is no manual entry, so the coach reads what your platform actually filled.

Free AI trading journal: is the AI Coach free?

Part of it: the daily read is free, and the full coach comes with the Bootcamp. A free account gets the journal with its AI trade review, today's read (which names your top finding), rule tests and full control of your coach data.

The full coach is included with the Elave Bootcamp: the habit behind the finding with its trades and cost, the weekly review, every habit, your journey and the nudges. The Bootcamp is by application.

Does an AI coach help prop firm traders?

It helps most where the rules are strict, because one repeated habit can end an evaluation. The coach reads your synced prop accounts like any other account.

On MT5, a habit the coach measured can become a Guardian rule, for example sizing up after a loss or re-entering right after one. The rule first runs in shadow for 7 days, logging what it would have done. It only acts once you switch it on, and it only ever holds new entries or size-increasing adds; it never touches your exits, stop-loss or take-profit.

Is my trade data private, and can I delete it?

Your trades are yours. In the coach's data page you can see what Elave knows about you, pause the coach, export the data or delete it.

Does Elave have an AI trading assistant?

Yes: Ask Elave, for any signed-in user. It answers questions about a concept or about your own trades, using curated answers and your live data, and nothing in your account changes until you press Confirm. On Telegram, /ask does the same. Ask Elave answers questions; the AI Coach is the part that finds habits in your trades.

AI coach vs human mentor

They answer different questions. The coach is good at counting; a mentor is good at context. Most traders who improve use both.

FAQ

Does an AI trading coach work, and is it worth it?

It can show you what your own past trades say: where you sized up after a loss, which hour costs you, how often you break your rules. It cannot predict the market, and no coach can guarantee results. It is worth it when you act on one finding at a time.

Is Elave's AI Coach free?

Today's read is free: it names the top finding in your trades. The AI trade review, rule tests and control of your coach data are free too. The full habit with its trades and cost, the weekly review, every habit and your journey are included with the Elave Bootcamp.

What does the AI Coach look for?

Behaviour, not price: revenge trading, tilt, oversizing, exiting early or late, breaking your own rules, trading around news, drifting out of your session and chasing losses. Each finding shows how many of your trades it rests on.

Can AI review each of my trades?

Yes. Every trade's detail view in the Elave journal has an AI trade review that scores how impulsive the trade looked, from 0 to 100. It is free for any signed-in user. Use it with your notes, ratings and the review queue, which lines up every trade you haven't reviewed yet.

How many trades does the coach need?

Each detector needs a minimum sample before it says anything. Below it, the finding reads "Not enough data" instead of a guess, and small samples are labelled "Early signal". Syncing your full history from MT5 or importing a file gets you there faster.

Does the AI Coach give trade signals?

No. It never suggests entries, never predicts price and never places, changes or closes a trade. It only describes your own trading behaviour, from the trades in your journal.

Can the coach stop me repeating a habit?

On MT5, yes, if you choose. A habit can become a Guardian rule that first logs for 7 days, then holds new entries when it fires. It never touches your exits, and you can turn it off at any time.
